Meet the Author,
Steve Zimick
My name is: Steve Zimick, a 3 time published children’s book author dealing with my loving tabby cat, Mr. Mau. We adopted one another a few years back and are the best of buddies. Mr. Mau is such a funny cat that I just had to place into words what he, we, were doing together to maybe inspire children somehow! Not just about love, friendship, learning as well as adventure, but about real life characters and life experiences we may encounter in the real world around us!
I grew up in the countryside in the Town of Maine just outside Wausau in the state of Wisconsin. As a child I was always around many pets, cats and dogs were so funny and yet interesting, somehow encouraging a dreamer like me to put into words what I was experiencing!
The support from my loving wife, family and friends, along with all of our furry family buddies has become an adventure itself in our loving forever family home! This love became the starting of a 9 adventure book series: Mr. Mau Adventures!
I am proud to say my books are made in the USA and support jobs here in the states. More importantly, being active with our local Marathon County Humane Society and animal rescue! Please adopt a pet from one of your local shelters.
